Meet Our Counselors

Nicole Kaufman, LPC NCC CCTP
Hi! I'm happy you're here. Looking for help is a big step!

I graduated with my master's in Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University in 2015. I have experience in a variety of settings including foster care and adoption casework, community mental health, school based and private practice counseling. I received my license for professional counseling (LPC) in 2018. My passion is trauma work, particularly women's issues which led me to seek a certification in trauma. I became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in 2023 through continuing education related specifically to treating trauma.
I opened Kaufman Counseling LLC in 2023. I've enjoyed meeting people with a variety of life circumstances and challenges. I believe each person's story is unique and I promise to treat it as such with my counseling education and experience in mind. Whatever your issue may be, it is always helpful to gain insight and another perspective. I hope to hear from you!
