Hi! I'm happy you're here. Looking for help is a big step!

I graduated with my master's in Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University in 2015. I have experience in a variety of settings including foster care and adoption casework, community mental health, school based and private practice counseling. I received my license for professional counseling (LPC) in 2018. My passion is trauma work, particularly women's issues which led me to seek a certification in trauma. I became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in 2023 through continuing education related specifically to treating trauma.

I opened Kaufman Counseling LLC in 2023. I've enjoyed meeting people with a variety of life circumstances and challenges. I believe each person's story is unique and I promise to treat it as such with my counseling education and experience in mind. Whatever your issue may be, it is always helpful to gain insight and another perspective. I hope to hear from you!

Hello! I am an associate-licensed counselor who graduated with my masters in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I have experience in community mental health as well as private practice. Before becoming a therapist, I was an elementary school teacher and also worked direct care in a group home setting. These varied life experiences help me really understand mental health across all stages of human development.

I’m glad you took the first step towards navigating life’s challenges. I’d love to walk beside you and support you. As a counselor, I want to be part of your team, helping you find relief and clarity using tools that enhance effective coping when life’s demands become overwhelming. I provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment where we can explore your experiences, build insight, and develop practical skills that move you towards meaningful change so you can be your authentic self! If you’re ready to take the next step or want to see if we are a good fit, I invite you to reach out today.

You might feel stuck, stressed, or weighed down by past experiences—whether ongoing mental health struggles, trauma, or life changes. You’re ready for change and want a space where you’re truly seen, supported, and guided toward growth, balance, and becoming the best version of yourself.

With years in substance use treatment, corrections, and crisis care, I provide a supportive, collaborative space. Together, we’ll make sense of challenges, build practical coping skills, and take steps toward clarity, confidence, and a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating... but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a warm, supportive space to explore what’s going on, build on your strengths, and take steps toward a life that feels more manageable and authentic.

Hi there!

I know that taking the first step to look for a counselor can feel overwhelming, so I'm really glad you're here. Life comes with challenges, big and small, and you don't have to navigate them on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—a place built on trust, connection, and acceptance. This time is yours, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of your journey.

I have worked with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, developmental concerns, or relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to better understand yourself, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and empowered as you move toward healing and growth.

Whenever you're ready, I'd love to connect!

There aren't many moments in life when you can simply pause, exhale, and set down what you've been carrying. I would be honored to help create that space for you.

My goal is to support you through whatever feels heavy - whether that's overwhelming thoughts, difficult emotions, uncertainty, or life's many challenges. Therapy is a space dedicated to you: a place where your voice matters, your story is heard, and your experiences are met with compassion and validation. I strive to create a therapeutic environment grounded in warmth, authenticity, and genuine connection.

My approach is relational, meaning I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful source of healing. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating and body image concerns. I believe therapy isn't about "fixing.” It's about developing the tools to manage and make sense of your experiences, and reclaiming your sense of agency.

My hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, heard, and supported as you move toward healing. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you in that journey.
